In 2023 I took on an exclusive job as Senior Writer at Krafton's PUBG Amsterdam Studio, to work on the narrative for their upcoming title, PUBG Black Budget. For a year I honed my skills as both a game writer and narrative designer, adding to the worldbuilding and lore of the title. Players join a 'classified operation and uncover the secrets of a mysterious island trapped in a time loop,' so you can imagine the amount of writing that went into this PUBG title.
The PC extraction shooter PUBG Black Budget was announced November 2025, without many details, yet the announcement came with a request to join a Closed Alpha playtest on Steam. You can check the details through this link. I'd love to tell you more about what the narrative team contributed and what my part was, but this unfortunately will have to wait until the game is fully available!
